Due to an inexpert repair by a non-plumbing contractor several years ago, a leak had developed in the main outflow pipe from my second floor kitchen. The leak was not just behind the dishwasher, but also behind the drywall in back of it, and then out of sight behind the adjacent cabinetry. (Please, people, don't install cabinets in front of pipes!) Simple Plumber was able to diagnose the problem expertly. The offending, and near-unreachable piping was cut off, and replaced with new, accessible pipes to the outflow. The cabinets remain intact, there's no leak behind, and the kitchen sink is useable again. Simple Plumber is the real deal!
Simple Plumber is simply the best! We had Joe over (again) to replace our tub faucet (had a cheap faucet with a broken diverter). Upon opening the bathroom wall, he found some galvanized pipe was still running through the house. Some of it appeared to turn behind the bedroom wall, but he couldn't be sure where it led. He replaced what he could see with copper, but didn't let the job get away from him. He could have easily opened up our bedroom wall and turned the whole project into something much larger (and more costly for us). Long story short, our new faucet is wonderful. It is rare to have a professional who is capable, respectful, honest, and downright funny. If you like, he will involve you in each step of the process. And, if you ask nicely, he may even let you use some of his fancy tools -- So. Much. Fun. Thanks again, Joe!
Joe at Simple Plumber is a fantastic plumber. He came to my house and fixed all my problems with my disposal, dishwasher and air gap. Everything worked perfectly after he was finished. It was easy to make an appointment with his wife Sallie, he arrived on time, knew exactly what to do and got it done quickly and at a great price. I couldn't be happier with the work he did. Several months later I had a major water leak after the a big box store dishwasher install and I couldn't use my kitchen sink. The store couldn't get anyone out for four days! I called Joe, sent him some pictures of the leak, he diagnosed it over the phone, explained what was going on and got it fixed for me within hours. What he did was way above and beyond any of my expectations and I was so grateful. So not only is Joe a great plumber, he is a wonderful human being and will always be my go-to plumber!

I'm a new home owner and needed to get a plumber into our place for a leak in the upstairs bathroom before we could move in. I'd never called a plumber before in my life, so was honestly a little nervous about the experience because you hear about people getting swindled because what the heck do I know about plumbing. Joe & Sallie made the experience totally painless, and I was immediately put at ease when Joe was showing me where work *didn't* need to be done that my inspection report was showing repairs were needed. He showed me where to find my dishwasher model and coached me on simple maintenance, and fixed my leaking pipe quickly which kept the cost of the repair low. I'll definitely be using their services again if the need should arise!.
When our older house was having some drainage problems in the basement for which I’d spent weeks looking at diy fixes. Joe identified the problem basically immediately and helped us find an ideal solution for a fairly big problem! We appreciate his awesome demeanor and knowledge; we will absolutely be the first person we contact with any future concerns.
Wow! I cannot say enough good things about Joe and Sallie! They each went above and beyond for me, and saved me from a giant emergency. Joe kindly came out and fixed a major leak - and I know this extended his day, but he never complained or mentioned it. After the work was done, he emailed me a full description of what he did and sent me helpful links that educated me on water saving tactics. I will recommend him to everyone and am so thankful that I found him! He was a referral, and I can see why!

I called Simple Plumber because of their great yelp reviews and I'm glad I did. I had a small job -- a clogged bathroom sink drain that needed to be cleared -- and Joe came out and took care of it quickly and efficiently this afternoon. He made sure everything was working properly, answered all my questions and made suggestions about how to make maintenance easier, and he cleaned up everything before he left. I'm really impressed with both Joe and Sallie; both of them go the extra mile to do a good job (I had actually called them about another job a year ago while they were on vacation, and Sallie was kind enough to return my call anyway and refer me elsewhere), and are organized, professional, and just really nice people. Their rates are reasonable and seem to me to be about average for independent plumbers. Highly recommended.
Honest and kind workmanship. Joe takes the time to really find-out what the problem is. He’s excellent at putting things into perspective - my mountain really is just a mole hill. He doesn’t suggest any unnecessary work; only what’s needed to get the problem resolved. Simple Plumber is my go-to every time.
I'm lucky to know a caring professional like Joe. I've had several odd piping issues at my house, interior and exterior, and Joe has always been HUGELY helpful over the phone and in person. He really cares about his craft and customers - and he doesn't just fix things; he improves them. He has longevity and sustainability in mind.
